Human Resource Management (Degree Level)

Course Information

This course exposes students to the field of Human Resources Management (HRM). The course provides a foundation in theory and practice in human resource functions such as human resource planning, recruitment and selection of staff, training and development, performance management, compensation and benefits, employment law, labour relations and occupational health and safety. The course examines the shared and complementary responsibilities of line managers and HR specialists to ensure organizational effectiveness.
